i just installed the apk version on my N9005 and so far everything works.
@kevinrocks can you check with your filehoster, because if i download it on mobile, the file is only 56kb every time i try to download it. On PC it works just fine and the file size is correct too

Now i have a question. does that look about right?

Another short question, what is the difference between 4GB and Unlimited? is that the filesize? 4GB creates a maximum of 4gb and unlimited until my memory is full?

it looks like you have 50mbit there

if your sdcard is fat32 formatted, the maximum size of files is 4GB... if you format in other way (like NTFS), you can have files with bigger size than 4GB

I double checked.I installed the 100mbit version.

How do I find out what format my sd card is?
And if I format to exfat, can I still access it when I plug my phone into the pc?

Works perfectly for 2 reasons

1. The 5 minute limit has gone and im using the International Stock Rooted version

2. I was having many issues with my camera but this camera mod apk has fixed all issues

Btw I used the unlimited 100mb camera apk version

Is the 4K (43039 Limit) supposed to stay there? I successfully installed the APK and just renamed the original/odex files to .bak - did the correct permission rw-r-r and rebooted. I checked the file details of my recorded videos on my computer and the bit rates show as 288Kbps both for front and rear facing camera videos. I downloaded the Unlimited 100mb apk. I'm running rooted At&t.

I downloaded the 100mbUnlimited zip. Still showing the 5:00 limit.

I didn't try the aroma since everyone on tmo reported so many issues.

I'll download a different apk an see if a different resolution works

it shows 5min limit, but can you record longer than 5min?

I have a feeling that it cant go over the 50000 bitrate, the file does have 100mbit programmed into it so the max may be what you see (around 52000)

It doesn't show the 5 minute limit anymore on my one.just regular time counter counting how long I have recorded and file size. I used the unlimited version.can anybody tell me how to check my sd cards file system? If it's fat32 or anything else because I used the unlimited version

after replacing the apk for first time.. I had no shutter sound... but shutter sound is back.. replaced apk again, but still shutter sound
in wanam xposed is also a option to disable shutter sound, but doesn't work for Note 3

I repeated the whole procedure 3 times, with no luck .
tested 3 times of recording .
What is the problem ?

I am a bit unclear on how I install this. Hoping I can get some help.

I understand the apk unlimited version. rename .bak. copy over zip renamed correctly to apk set permissioins

but I want the 4gb limit and the ability to select bitrate etc.. ie the aroma version

how do I install that? do I then have "options" as to bitrate etc.. or is it a custom "patch" for each iteration? how do I select?

OK I got it. that was new. never saw a "custom menu option flash" thing like that. Pretty damned neat

would ALSO love to increase bitrate for slow motion (if I can find the damned slow motion mode to begin with

BTW I selected 4gb 50mbit option

when I click camera says camera not available.

this is sprint stock rooted mj4 using twrp

camera broken. I am going to try again and select restore stock and see what happens

I can NOT restore stock. it fails.

I select restore stock and it still presents me with a bit rate selection screen

none of the selections work (all say not available) except the first that just says "camera bitrate" tapping it does not error but it also does not "do" anything at all except flash the screen momentarily.

I am going to attempt to install the apk over top and see what happens. I don't want the unlimited 100mbit though. but I also want my camera back

OK now I am worried.

I went in and deleted camera and restored the backup but camera still will not work. I get this error when I try

OK one of the links took me to a page with the different apk. I copied one of them over and it appears to have worked now!!

I think I "MIGHT" know why (purely a out of my butt guess)

it renames Samsungcamera2.apk to samsungcamera2.bak. With another mod I installed i was warned NOT to do this but to LEAVE .apk in place and simple "add" .bak so samsungcamera2.apk.bak

I did this when I installed the apk version. Now that camera is working I am unwilling to "test" this tonight just a thought though. could be that simple.

well 1 guy said it might but we wont know till someone tries... i was gonna have a contest to see who could record the longest video on 4K and see how far we can push this, furthest ive gone so far was 13 min on 4K

i did smell something funny when i was at 13 min but it may of just been my house on fire or my computer burning who knows

YES!! Got it up to 9.5GB so far now to make some more tweaks and it should be good to go, i will make induvidual one for sdcard sizes

i stand corrected..... it was just freaking out, no matter what option i change it always ends at 4294967295 bytes (4GB)...hm samsung must have something somewhere deeper stopping it
