Obviously there are only two possibilities. The first is that DxO deliberately selects an older version of the firmware for evaluation. The second reason is that DxO has already conducted this evaluation before. This is just a continuous preview, from the audio to the screen to the camera, the project progresses slowly. Hi, lets say hypnotically i can invest in Snapdragon S21U, do we have a decent amount of people in the private group so it should be a sign that the development will be continuous and good? i have no problem with paying donations.

Interesting, I didn't look at the review properly but wad suprised to see in the zoom section the S21U wasn't even better than the N20U.

Could it be the test was 'standardized' to the same zoom/options for each camera. Clearly unfair as newer cameras will have newer options which than don't get tested?

The test methods works fine for DSLRs/lens as nothing much changes, but maybe for these phone cameras the testing methods used are simply too rigid and out of date?

Standardized? DXO and standardization? XD

We beg for that for whole 2 years, 1 review there is low light only, 1x there are numerous low light and night mode, 1x is same scene, 1x completely different location, 1x indoors, 1x no indoors, 1x all types of zooms, 1x none, they are far from standardization, their reviews are garbage. Only good for full res samples.

The date on EXIF in all photo that I see is February from 2 to 4 (and one at 17, always with the same firmware)

7.3 works with main camera and wide one. but IMHO the photo quality even worse than stock camera app. 8.1 can only record video when take photo will crash when save.

hi, does anyone use the gcam successfully with the exynos version?

Using BSG private version here (8.1.xx), it actually gives a noticeable increase in image quality in good lighting (not those ugly oil-painting-effects in Stock Camera that sometimes occur), HDR is worse, though. Noise in low lighting is still worse sometimes, but this is a matter of optimization&configuration IMHO.

Sadly no support for tele lenses in Gcam and so far little hope that this can change, as to my knowledge this is Samsungs domain....

For portraits I would not use portrait mode anyway, I'd just use photo mode and the 3x optical.

Can You share Your xml config? I'm in BSG Private group too, but can't setup software correctly.

Im also trying BSG, sadly the stock night mode is significantly better. Haven't tested daylight much tbh.

There is one version of Gcam that mostly works. A bit buggy but all lenses are selectable and working fine.
