To contrast with our friend's previous post with the nice nature and rolling hills, one end of afternoon view of HK, and a night one (wide angle lens).
You can imagine the rats and cochroaches having a stroll there :)

The colours are quite accurate, but I do not like too much how details are lost in the lighted area. However that blue in the sky is correct, and I really like the contrast of that with the pink.
The overview in daytime is OK, HDR did not destroy the colours too hard... I would have liked the clouds to be a bit better in regard to the part where the sun pierces them, but I suppose it's actually pretty good that we do get details in them.
Again, I do like the pictures I can catch with this phone!

I'm thinking of getting the Exynos version. I'm not a fan of Samsung's processing generally, can it be bypassed using 3rd party apps? Does Lightroom mobile have access to all the cameras?

Here some more Exynos animals and such :D

2 of the Ultra wide shots were done with the gCam v8 since it manages to pull out more detail.

Latest update. The bird is 10x camera.

The green monster was shot with 108mp and cropped in a bit. Also light was poor and the beast was moving towards the phone so maybe blurry? 😅

Cat was where it is forbidden for her to climb but was there against the law, looking at me like she gives no F's...

Playing around more with the 10x camera. It can actually achieve pretty close to macro focus! Some pics taken with GCam at 10x minimum focal distance.

Foggy yesterday morning. Full auto, exynos, last firmware AUB9.
BTW. First photo little postproduced in lightroom mobile. Added vignette, more vibrant and punched whites and shadows, just all, the rest is stock.

Now a much better macro pic of my eye. There was a bright light source in front of me, so I had to take exposure down, improve details, etc in snapseed. Anyway, awesome details. Macro camera is amazing!

I don't play with post processing much these days, but AD Photoshop/LR on the mobile is surprisingly good, this is going to be printed to acrylic plate at somepoint.

The dynamic range of the S21U really is quite something, even jpgs allows for post processing to the exact temperature 'look' you want.

The depth and general tone of pictures the S21 U is able to capture really did use to be only possible on 'proper' camera systems, even the x10 lens produces half decent efforts in post.

Add in the fact the entire work flow is possible on the phone, so no peeking on the back of a LCD camera screen, no faff with uploading to a laptop, no LR library to manage, no need to worry about backup due to the cloud, am pretty sure I can also send these file direct to Photobox/Snapfish or similar for large format printing all from the phone.......

From a purely a photography point of view, the S21 U is outstanding, there is no other way to put it.
