Just thought I would share a couple of photos. Exynos S21 Ultra stock settings wide lens x1.

Enjoying taking photos with the camera although confused as to whether I should turn off scene optimizer or leave it on. Does scene optimizer remove some of the oversharpening going on?

Scene Optimizer change the saturation and the colors most of time

Frustrated, what could have been a great photo, ruined with ghosting. Was basically walking around the dog taking photos. Shot after this one has it as well. blah. It can be so good, and you start to get happy with it and poof it throws one of these at you

Hi! Is there any way to activate the flash in 0.6x camera? Since if I could do it in my previous S20 + and not in my S21Ultra
Probably they disabled it because the light would enter the ultra wide lens and bleed in. That is not a pretty picture.

I used to have this issue on a nokia N97 and it sucked. The ultra wide cam is just not meant to be used in the dark unless you are using night mode, then it is nice, just not on moving subjects.

Estoy interesado en comprar el S21 ultraI'm interested in buying the S21 ultra, but I'm hesitant with the processor, I see that exynos has better dynamic range, but exynos gets a lot of noise while Snapdragon softens a lot, but also Snapdragon sub exposes. What do you think which one best processes the images of the camera, exynos or Snapdragon?

Muchacho you just described it all by your self.

Both models have some small differences but the reality is that you can snap amazing photos with both.

Only time Ive seen it, yes. Hopefully it stays rare
Does the EXIF data from the photo give any hints as to what the phone did in that auto mode? Like the specific settings the phone decided to use?

That ghosting looks to me like some kind of "stacking" was happening, where multiple images are combined for the final result. But yet you seem to have good lighting. So I'm confused why the auto mode would decide to use stacking???

    Nope. Just regular auto mod
Surely that type of ghosting is rare..

You just perfectly summarized the whole exynos vs snapdragon discussion

Foggy yesterday morning. Full auto, exynos, last firmware AUB9.
BTW. First photo little postproduced in lightroom mobile. Added vignette, more vibrant and punched whites and shadows, just all, the rest is stock.

Now a much better macro pic of my eye. There was a bright light source in front of me, so I had to take exposure down, improve details, etc in snapseed. Anyway, awesome details. Macro camera is amazing!

I don't play with post processing much these days, but AD Photoshop/LR on the mobile is surprisingly good, this is going to be printed to acrylic plate at somepoint.

The dynamic range of the S21U really is quite something, even jpgs allows for post processing to the exact temperature 'look' you want.

The depth and general tone of pictures the S21 U is able to capture really did use to be only possible on 'proper' camera systems, even the x10 lens produces half decent efforts in post.

Add in the fact the entire work flow is possible on the phone, so no peeking on the back of a LCD camera screen, no faff with uploading to a laptop, no LR library to manage, no need to worry about backup due to the cloud, am pretty sure I can also send these file direct to Photobox/Snapfish or similar for large format printing all from the phone.......

From a purely a photography point of view, the S21 U is outstanding, there is no other way to put it.
