Question Can I just flash magisk using the LineageOS recovery?

Had a problem where my OP9 would crash hourly using Oxygen OS. 12, 11, root, no root, didnt matter. I finally got around to trying lineage 18 and it has been great, not a single crash.
Anyways, I need a SU manager and i really dont want to go through all the steps of extracting and patching boot images so I was wondering: can I just sideload the magisk zip using the lineageos recovery? I know magisk says this isnt the way to do it now but I also know it works since I tried it using twrp on my OOS install. Does it screw stuff up to do it that way though?

Volt olyan probléma, hogy az OP9-em óránként összeomlott Oxygen OS használatával. 12, 11, gyökér, nincs gyökér, mindegy. Végre eljutottam ahhoz, hogy kipróbáljam a 18-as vonalat, és nagyszerű volt, egyetlen összeomlás sem történt.
Mindenesetre szükségem van egy SU menedzserre, és nagyon nem akarok végigmenni a rendszerindító képek kibontásának és javításának minden lépésén, ezért azon töprengtem: be tudom tölteni a magisk zip-et a lineageos helyreállítás segítségével? Tudom, hogy a magisk azt mondja, hogy ezt most nem így kell megtenni, de azt is tudom, hogy működik, mivel twrp segítségével próbáltam ki az OOS-telepítésemen. Mégis elrontja a dolgokat, hogy így csinálja?

No it works fine. Use the exact command pif above posted.

I wish they explained why they what us to do it from the installed app, too. I do it the suggested why on my 9 but flash it still from recovery on my 6 and both with fine.

I'm sure they have a valid reason and maybe there's one stated somewhere, but I havenntnot seen one, yet
