Hi.

I have a few Apps which:
1. drain my battery,
2. are necessary for the use of a phone, but keep on connecting 2 - 10 times a minute, to the internet, without me even doing anything.

How can I force Apps to only connect to the internet, if I start them?
- Chrome com.android.chrome
- Youtube com.google.android.youtube

Also there are some apps where there is no logical reason why they should try to connect to the web.
I want to keep the apps but take away all right for them to try to connect to the web, even to try starting a connection
- Contacts / Kontakte com.google.android.contacts
- Messages com.google.android.apps.messaging
- Phone / Telefon com.google.android.dialer
- Akku und Leistung com.miui.powerkeeper
- Gerätesuche com.xiaomi.finddevice
- Hintergrundbild Karussell com.miui.android.fashiongallery

Can anyone please help me?

Greenify should do the job. Maybe need root to fully work but not 100% sure. Just try and add the apps u want to hibernate and the app prevents them to Connect.

Thank you, I installed it, but system apps need to purchase the full version of greenify.

Do you use it and is it working for you?

It is also trying to connect to the internet --.--

Well, I used years ago so I can't remember if It worked 100% but I remember to see hibernating apps, even blocking push notificacions. I have to admit that I downloaded the apk so:
Download the full apk and if It works for you, consider buying it.
I always try to optimise battery so If I try what you're trying, I'll post It.

Thank you very much!!!

I installed it, it works partially very well, can you suggest an app to stop apps, which have to run in the background but shouldn't try to connect to the internet? I have a firewall, but a few app's keep connecting to the web, which is really disturbing.

It doesn't work with the:
- Gerätesuche
- Akku und Leistung,Android-System,Anrufverwaltung...

it's the same app which will break android if disabled https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...e-problems-t4006171/post83471383#post83471383

Glad it (partially) worked. I'm afraid I can't suggest any app. Anyway, the battery drain of this system apps should be very low compared to push notification apps or sensors. Would be nice to exclude system apps from connecting but maybe it's too far...
