Can Not get Root

Bootloader-unlocked
CWM-installed

Downloaded Superuser-3.2-RC3-arm-signed.zip, as detailed in the video
youtube com/watch?v=S1KmsxO84UU (replace space between youtube and com with a . - spam filter wont let me post URL's yet)

flashed .zip in CWM-successfully

SU app will not pull root, and root apps will not get root access. I have followed several different guides (well, downloading and flashing the root zip files, nothing will gain root access. Not sure what to do, or what the problem is, it seems like everyone else roots pretty flawlessly.

Any ideas?

why dont you try SuperSU instead? heres the link in case you need it . get the zip file to flash in recovery

SuperSU wouldn't work either. It gave an error message when trying to access root. I got it to root flashing CWM superuser in recovery. Downloaded the zip to my SD card using the market link.
