The Nexus devices (Broadcom chipset) can use their internal WiFi card to inject packets since they can be put into monitor mode.
I don't have much knowledge about 802.11, WiFi, and the chipset but I think OnePlus' WiFi can also be put into monitor mode by tweaking the chipset. The OnePlus probably uses the Qualcomm chipset(?)
It would be of great use if we get this working on the internal WiFi card.
