Unable to update /install software pie(brand new phone)

hello there!
Finally joining the HTC bandwagon here
I've got myself a new HTC u 11+ and just started using it last friday.My friend helped me to buy itdirectly from the HTC Taiwan.
The phone started and launched breezily, no issues and most of my apps has been updated but there's a pop up notification to install the latest system.
I have tried numerous of times downloading it, it did, and clicked install now. Everytime I install, it's shows the progress of the updating and soon the screen went black and HTC logo appeared and a text appeared shortly on a black screen and within few secs it directed twrp recovery. I have to reboot the system on that twrp to get back to my phone mode.
Hence never got updated and the pop up reminder is still there ..
HTC support system not responding to my problem
*A famous youtuber(shaanhaider) guided me to check if it's rooted via app, apparently it's not rooted.
*tried to put in safe mode and update,still nothing changes.

What should I do?

Just received an OTA message that Software update: 3.35.651.4 (Android Pie) is available. How can I download and save this for future installation?

Ok. I downloaded and have the ZIP file (OTA_OCEAN_WHL_P90_SENSE10GP_MR_Sprint_WWE_3.35.651.4-2.33.651.10_R2_release_546692.zip). Is the only way to install this to flash an official sprint RUU and then flash the OTA? I'm running Bad Boys ROM right now.

Hi,

I do have exactly the same issue on an untouched U11 single Sim. HTC support is not able to help me.
Current software version is 2.33.161.11 of a German Vodafone Rom with CID VODAP102.
So I am desperately looking for OTA to from 2.33.161.11 to 2.33.161.12 and then to 3.36.161.1 or a RUU for 3.36.161.1.
Any help is more than welcome.
@breno_campolina: have you tried to clear the cache of the those two system apps: update and download manager (Apps -> 3 point menu -> show system apps)? You might also want to try to download the update within the safe mode. I have tried all of this without success.

I joined the HTC U11 club a few days ago and want to flash the RUU 3.36.161.1 also. Probably you already found another solution, yet I wanted to tell you that I found some links at androidfilehost.com
Just start a query with "3.36.161.1", that yielded some results. I assume it will work with other letter combinations too.
