I've tried making some changes to the system with TWRP. However, everything seems to be reset once I boot into the OS. Any chance that this can work without requiring root?
I looked around and it seems like people are either talking about rooting or using a VPN like ad-blocker. I'm still getting used to how different the pixel behaves since it's so different from other android devices in this sense.
