Can you pair Pixel XL with car?

I have an issue with my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it pairs and stays connected or at least appears to. When a call comes in the phone and car say I am connected, but only the phone rings. If I try to make a call from the car it attempts to make the call, but stays in limbo until a turn it off. While it says connected, it will not let me disconnect or delete phone.

I have had 5-10 phones with this car and all have worked without issue.

I would say that this is not limited to GM

Not a Pixel issue but an issue with GM's infotainment system. No issues with BT on Ford's SYNC 3.

It's not just the pixel. I have a 2011 GMC Acadia. Same thing pairs but doesn't stay connected. Pulled out my N6P running the latest preview 7.1.1. Same problem. It has to be latest version of Android with GM.

I've read before that some car BT controllers that have issues with certain devices can sometimes be corrected by putting the problem device as the first item in the BT device list. Have you tried this?
