The market for Note 7s is mixed. Some units requiring more software work sell for as little as $200 (that's what I paid); decently working units (e.g. 60% limited units) fetch ~$600; and perfect condition units without any disabling updates can still for $1000. Some brand new in box units can still sell for $2000.
That said, is selling even legal? What are the implications around that?

i have a rogers note 7 still. thought about trying to make it work but seeing everyones struggles, doesnt seem worth it. anyone have luck selling these things?

All the ads I have seen are on standard marketplaces - Kijiji, eBay, Craigslist, Letgo, etc. Takes some real digging to find ads because some websites delete them automatically. Some people don't realize that authorities can crack down on the selling of a Note 7. Buyers are off the hook, though, from what I see. I don't plan on selling, so there should not be much of an issue for me.
