I can confirm that the sgh-T999v is most likely identical to the TMO variant T999.

The rooting method here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726725

is 100% working on my Wind/Mobilicity device.

Good to hear, thanks for the confirmation! Hopefully SGH-T999 ROMS are compatible with the SGH-T999V and that development picks up

does that mean, though, that i can use Tmo roms on my wind phone? no one seems to be able to answer this for me for sure...
what about kernels? does it matter who's kernel i use? this stuff so confuses the hell out fo me and searching for answers just confuses me more because no one seems to be posting about this... everyone seems to be so far past talking about simple crap like this...
