I see that the 10G OTA is out for Wind, but Rogers already has the 10H.

Anyone know the difference? I am currently on 10F.

For the OTA description, it just says usability improvements through Google patch.
I am not convinced that the version numbers are comparable across carriers anymore. The descriptions (like the one you posted) are not very helpful at all. I am on the Telus 10f kdz (on my Bell device), and Bell's numbering scheme is is at 10e I believe (which was released after Telus 10f). Could very well be that Bell is just far behind on the updates, but something weird going on with the carriers and this device IMO.

Whenever I plug in my device with download mode, my computer does not detect the device. I installed the United LG Mobile driver (tried both ver 3.14 and the latest 3.81 to no avail. Any suggestions...?
I had this issue the other day when I was trying to flash 10H, I ended up having to uninstall everything LG on my computer, rebooting, then installing the drivers again

Just to be clear.
I'm on Videotron. I have the LG G4 H81210G.

I can flash the Telus Rooted.kdz directly onto my phone using the procedure written on OP?
I think you should flash the full telus kdz before flashing the rooted one.

Teluf 10f: touchscreen keyboard fix, stagefright patch (all exploits except one), battery optimizations, kernel tweaks.
Telus 10g: Patched the last stagefright exploit. That's it.

As for Bell being behind, I just think numbering conventions are different... But could not officially confirm.

If you plug your phone in as is. (Not in download mode. Just while on)
Does your computer recognize the device? You can check to see by going into Windows Start Menu > Computer > And there should be a removable device by the name of 'LG G4'
Getting it to work here is a start if you haven't already

Yes if I plug in the phone as is, my computer detects it and the drivers are automatically installed. However if plugged in with download mode, my computer detects that something is plugged in and says drivers failed to install. I installed the LG United Mobile driver to no avail. Restarted computer and used different usb cables as well.

Do you by chance have bluestacks installed on your computer?
This blocked me off a few times for the debloat tool. Go into the task manager and kill anything bluestacks related.

I assume the Rogers H update is newer than the Telus F? Anything better on it?

---------- Post added at 03:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:59 AM ----------

One other question, if I'm on Telus F and I have a Rogers/MTS phone, will the OTA actually work? Because I noticed the OP said in a different thread that if you remove root with SuperSU the OTA will install.

I want to thank everyone for their hard work. (@Spudnubs @karendar @GibMcFragger....etc.) It's great to be running the Telus 10G kdz with 10G rooted system on my Bell. Coming from a 10C build, it's nice that all of my taps register (knock to wake works properly now) and I can register all 10 of my digits on a multi touch testing app (whereas 6 would cause it too crash before.

I had bricked one of these phones early on (edit build prop) so I was pretty gun shy but for the most part everything went smoothly (except when all of the text on the LG flash tool turned to question marks and program crashed before the update reached 100%).

Looking forward to the next build update. Thanks again!

The only thing stopping OTA's is root so if you remove root then you will be able to update via OTA if you so choose. That is how I updated my phone last.

Is anyone else hearing the buzz about having recovery on locked bootloaders now?
Trying to compile some information on this, but it sounds pretty promising :) Custom kernals/roms will finally be on the way I hope.

Yeah I just read that too. Made me depressed again. But nothing is impossible. Someone smart enough will figure it out I hope.
Where did you see that? I didn't see any reference to OTA. All I saw was some guy hoping that his "v0" phone can be bootloader unlocked.

And I am kind of surprised how little attention people are paying to that bootloader unlock.
