Why do I feel like the temperature sensor in mi3 is a gimmick. In a place like kashmir it showed me temperature of around 40 C. Where the highest in summer till now is 30 or below.Yet another update.

The temperature sensor is for the device. Like if your device gets too hot from playing Angry Birds, then the SOC will auto adjust ur cpu to a frequency that kinda lower the perfomance of your device but also lowers the heat generated. Why do I feel like the temperature sensor in mi3 is a gimmick. Then I used an app to check sensors,it didn't detect the sensor at all.
Let me have this clarified.
P.S this all on stock Miui V5.

That's not it. Temperature sensor measures the temperature in your surroundings. The temperature sensor is for the device. Well, I don't think we need Hugo Barra anymore

Yes that is the bad part! But with kernel sources released, we would have a million dollar device in our hands, no MIUI framework for me then. That's not it. Temperature sensor measures the temperature in your surroundings.
And we certainly require kernel sources. We won't get official cm support without it...ever.
