Nice to have this option for you guys to go but if I got it right (?) this build is for the snapdragon variant?
I have the useless in here 1.8ghz china TD version (Nvidia Tegra4) :crying:
IMO, it should be good news for you cos i bet there are even way better development for the Tegra version since its for China-Only and the Chinese shld know how to whip some cool ROMs knowing that Xiaomi is from their homeland also.

No u got it wrong.....there are no Roms for tegra version as the devs are not in trusted to build a ROM without sources.
Let it be there homeland or not...it doesn't matter.
Snapdragon on the other hand is being released in otherparts.
And apparently devs from India are having practice building Roms for micromax and other Indian phones whose kernel sources will never be released :p

That's what I was expecting when I ordered this version...

Yep and I understand that and I'm fed up with Nvidia and Xiaomi who released superb hardware without disclosing its source and on top of that they don't seem interested in updating MiUi ASAP.

Phone still in its box; for sale :p

as linus said : "I refuse to even consider tying my hands over some binary-only module", and continuing: "I want people to know that when they use binary-only modules, it's THEIR problem"
MY PROBLEM soon to become someone else PROBLEM on eBay ... :p

Hey I have been using cm and miui6 with tdb all fine, to switch simply reboot to cwm and enable cm or miui :D
Are the two system completely separate? I mean, if I install one app on System 1, will it be available on System 2 or should I install it there also?

if you enable true dual boot on cwm, it will be two completely different ROM's, therefore you would need to install separate apps for both the roms, although the music and pics etc will be available to both roms

Firstly, thanks Varun & Team for a great AOSP ROM for MI3 users!!

I am running the 21st aug build and its kinda ok but reboots occasionally and none of the sensors are working, I wanted to know is there any incremental update I can flash?? or I should wipe this build and install 18th aug build??

please update main thread, so that new comers can know that most of the sensor are fixed. thx
Antutu still shows all sensors as unsupported. guess that does not mean much, but which actually do work and which don't
sorry i did not read all posts, i agree it would be good to update the first one so people would know.

Yes ...guys stop asking coz you already knew when u got into xiaomi bandwagon that custom ROM support would be almost nothing at least an year.
Miui is all they are going to let u use. So if cm is stable than u r lucky :p
