Win 7 64bit

The computer and odin is able to see the device and go through the files. It can delete and move the files. However, whenever I try to copy files into the device, the dialogue box with the progress bar will appear like normal but it will just display the word "Copying" and will hold there forever.

Likewise, when I tried to use an odin 1 click for stock 2.1 (JF6), I ran into a similar issue. The device was in download mode and Odin detected it. I pressed start and it began its operations. Once it got down to Sbl.bin, it just stopped there. It is like it is having the same issue; nothing seems to be able to be copied into the phone.

Before doing this I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Perhaps it is the cable that connects to the phone? The phone is still currently plugged into odin and it is still in the Sbl.bin stage. I am not unplugging it or turning it off in fear of having to deal with unbricking the device, however, it seems like there are few other options at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Okay. Well, it got past the Sbl.bin after an hour. It quickly progressed through boot.bin, cache.rfs, dbdata.rfs, and is now stalled at factoryfs.rfs.

So apparently it takes hours+ to transfer files. Would this be an issue with the phone? The pc is able to transfer files to and from other devices perfectly fine. Maybe it actually is the cable?

That is probably what I am going to have to do.

I decided to try to leave odin running all night so that it could finish and I just got back to it right now. It never left factoryfs.rfs and it removed the device.

Now I can't even turn on the phone. It doesn't even display the computer-!-phone screen; It is just black.

EDIT: I looked around a bit and apparently the situation I am in right now means I have full bricked my phone and there is no recovery. I may have to just go to at&t and get a replacement. Sucks. Guess it truly isn't unbrickable, just very hard to.

Does it display anything when you plug it into the wall? If so that it is hard bricked. There is a well known website that can repair that condition and may be cheaper than getting a replacement from AT&T.

I've sent you a PM since we're not supposed to link to paid services.

The phone displays absolutely nothing. Even when plugged into the wall; The screen stays black, almost as if the phone had no power at all.
