I am running unofficial Lineage OS 17.1 (Android 10) on my U11
I can't seem to receive some text messages, especially the authentication codes sent by numerous apps for authentication.
The ones I'm having trouble with, particularly, are mobile wallet sort of apps
I googled it and people faced a similar issue back in 2018 with a build of Lineage OS,
I placed the SIM card into another rooted phone with stock rom and I could then receive any authentication codes via SMS that I'd like.
I even restored my phone from a backup of a Pixel Experience ROM (Android 9) and that too let me receive all the texts.
Please, any other answer than "switch ROMs" ?
