I went to this link: http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail to get my unlock code. It asks me to register. Well my country USA doesn't come up.

Do I need to put in my actual country? If so, where is USA?

UPDATE: Found another thread that instructed to select Honk Kong as country. But now I get error message "Please make sure the information you entered is correct". It is correct. Help!

I too, successfully oem unlocked with dc-unlocker.
Hey everyone- I am in the same boat. I have the US version of the M3 and am trying to root. I grabbed DC Unlocker and figured out the manufacture mode trick of using the calculator in landscape mode and using the () characters in place of *#.

Things were progressing fine but for the life of me, I can't get the drivers to load. I have HiSuite running fine, but the Huawei Android Driver pack from DC Unlocker absolutely will not install. My PC is running windows 7 x64 and it is running 100% fine. The drivers seem to have a compatibility conflict, and there seems to be no option to get the installer to run, nor is there anything in the device manager with which I can manually install the drivers, so there is no "modem" or com ports as the DC Unlocker requires. As a result, I can't detect the M3 and it seems I won't be able to unlock my bootloader. Can anyone please offer some suggestions?

Many thanks in advance :/

Hello again! Problem Solved. As it turns out DC Unlocker had a second version of the Huawei Android Drivers (with a 2 at the end) that was located in their download repository. Their guide does NOT point to this file, and from what I am gathering, the old version is for XP. Version 2 installed without a hitch, so I unlocked the bootloader 5 minutes later. On to rooting and finally 5ghz... Jeez.
