cannot turn on

my mi3 when connected to the pc, the led blinks red and then pc will make a sound like it is connected but then it restarts (by i mean restart, it's like disconnected and then connected again). i have trying charging it for half a day still cannot turn it on. is this some sort of a battery problem?

Did you drain the battery to 0? Do you have access to recovery? If you do, plug in your charger, reboot to recovery and reboot to system. It worked for me.

At first,it was kitkat and i tried to upgrade to lollipop using smiui and then something occured.i really cannot boot to recovery or fastboot.please help me

I could've helped you of you had fastboot at least. There are at least 2 or 3 threads in the Q&A or general section about the phone being bricked. Did you try those?

If you had fastboot access, download mi pc suite, download any fastboot rom and flash it. It would've been perfectly OK.
