Can't add contacts found in Exchange Directory

I'm searching my contacts for a specific contact. I find that he's not in my phone, rather I found him in my company's Exchange directory.

I'm clicking everywhere, but I can't anywhere in the Xperia Contacts UI the button of function to add that specific contact to my local directory.

Any idea how to do this? Every other Android phone I've ever owned has this option.

I'll answer my own question. I added my Exchange account using the GMail app. I just erased that account, added using the native Exchange ActiveSync UI. The "add contact" icon is now present.
