Hi,

I can't get into the stock recovery of my Defy anymore (using VolDown and Power). All it does is show the red Motorola logo. It doesn't boot either. Even when entering the bootmenu and choosing Recovery -> Stock Recovery, the same thing happens -> red M and nothing.

I really need to get in there to fix the problem of my system partition having only 128 MB...

Hope somebody knows the problem and a fix.. search didn't turn up much and nothing useful :(

Well, just in case somebody has the same problem in the future and stumbles across my question... ;)

Here's how I solved it:

The problem was apparently the CM9 (gingerbread) kernel, that I had installed. I'm now back on Froyo and stock recovery works again.
