I have the Honor 5x, currently on 151. I have the update available for 331, but I get an error trying to flash the update. I have used TWRP (3.2.1 and 3.2.3) and the stock recovery. Nothing works. I have never been able to successfully flash anything on this phone, except for SuperSU and recoveries. Also, backups ignore user data no matter what options I set when the backup is made. So... should I try a different recovery? Am I just going to have to content myself with 151? Is the North American version not compatible with the files I'm trying to flash (apparently even OTA updates?)

Edit: I did not realize that OTA updates will fail on this device if it was EVER rooted. Since it's flash resistant in every other respect, I am in fact stuck on 151. Good thing it still works, and I have low expectations. [emoji6]
