cant get passed encryption unsuccessful with CM12

ive been messing for days now...i can now get cm11 working fine...done a nandroid of that...but for some reason i cant get cm12 to get past the encryption message..... ive hunted around....wiped the data / cache / sys
ive even changed them to fat and back to ext4 and wiped... still nothing

ive tried just installing the rom zip in recovery.... ...ive flashed the boot.img from the rom in fastboot first.... tried pretty much everything i can think of

any ideas how to get cm12 passed this error

the way i got this to work was just to partition the SD Card using MiniTool Partition Wizard on the PC.

i split the 8gb card into 2 x 4gb the first was formatted to fat32 and the second to 4ext

worked for me on both cm12 and cm13 which were both giving me the encryption error.

Same Error. Even recovery wont openn stuck!
I parrtioned 3GB fat32 and 4 GB ext4 primary.

id flash the recovery again..

fastboot erase cache

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
