I'm trying to set up number sharing on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Galaxy Watch4 LTE but keep getting the following error. Some online searching suggests that it isn't support for this type of phone. Doesn't anyone know any workarounds?

If your mobile service provider supports esim it should work. BUT

I personally failed to activate the esim on my watch using my pixel device.
Then, i synced the watch to my old galaxy s8 and successfully activated the esim on the watch.
I reset the watch and synced back to the pixel. The esim remains activated.
The reset does not erase the esim data.

Has it worked fine since then? I just need to get my hands on a Samsung phone now!

I was in the exact situation you described (Pixel/Watch4, used an old Galaxy S7). Your solution came through for me where Samsung and my service provider's customer support couldn't! Thanks a lot, I was about to return the Watch4.
