I have tried the "Factory data reset" option in the "sd card and phone storage" menu 3 times already. And It's not resetting the data. I just bought this one after selling my old one at the beginning of the year. I need to get the gmail account off of it so I can sync my gmail account. Is there another way to reset it without replacing the rom?

I knew how to load new roms on it the old way when it ran off of the SD card, now I have to learn the new way to replace this one I guess.

I want to just keep this ROM and reset it back to factory defaults. I'll play around with ROMS later when I am more versed on changing out nand ROMs. I watched some youube videos and found out how to get into the bootloader menu. I held down the power button and looked around, there is a "reset" option in it. What happens when this "reset" option is selected? Does it reset the current ROM on it back to the default settings or does it prepare you to reset the phone back to a windows ROM?

none of them. it just erases the current rom, then you must flash it again from beginning.
