Hello,

I'm from Brazil and own a Galaxy Express. Used szezso tutorial to install cyanogen 11 on it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792157

Due to GPS instability, I was inclined to use warranty, so I had to return to stock rom.

And here begins the trouble. After goin back to the stock rom, my cellphone went mute (notification, ring, call, recording and media play), I can make calls, it has signal, but I cant hear the person on the other side. The cellphone will eventually hang when entering in standby mode, also. It hangs with the screen off and I have to remove battery.

The stock rom I'm trying to install is I8730UBAMC2_I8730ZVVAMC2_ZVV.zip (VIVO) which I obtained in sam mobile, I ve tried another brand rom (TIM) with almost the same result. It's weird because I could reinstall the same stock rom before, it's the second time I have to this.

Now I'm trying to go back to cyanogen but Framaroot is not able to instal SU, and now I dont know what to do :( I'm desperate.

Well, thanks for your help,

FYI I managed somehow to make framaroot work via Gandalf method and was able to reinstall Cyanogen.

The funny thing is, after I flashed I8730XWAMK1 using CP-button in ODIN (following Svennen tut) the sound was restaured, meaning that my phone got dependent on this baseband to work.

Does that mean I cant flash the stock rom anymore (the one I used to flash before), thus I cant have warranty back?
