I can also say I know what the meaning of life is and walk away from the conversation. If you not prepared to help people and assume they don't know what they doing all the time why even comment?. You may do as you wish, it doe not faze me. I started this thread saying I have tried everything ( this means EVERYTHING) and all you keep going oh but have you done this (everything).

This is so damn true. I inow that some ppl just post sthg in a forum without even google it, but if we say that we tried everything please don't treat us as stupids. I've started the post to get a solution and some random guy just link me the first YouTube video he found. That's irritanting.
I hope an administrator do something with those guys who just replies to get a badge or whatever in the forum.

It's your thread, use the 'report' button and justify your request, that's all.

To unlock bootloader, use official miflash_unlock.exe and make sure you can see phone in fastboot devices with the bunny on phone.

For those who don't know: as prerequisites enable Xiaomi Cloud syncs + Find device, Xiaomi SIM Activation Service, bond sim card in Settings - Mi Account, and enable mi unlock status in developer options right before rebooting into fastboot mode.

this is the exact issue I had with my 11T Pro.

i unlocked the bootloader on the phone and waited the full 168 hours.
then downloaded the Xiaomi unlocking tool and unlocked the bootloader.
i then used Xiaomi flashing tool to update the phone.

either the above way or you wait till the update comes via OTA.

Was it worth it? Did it change your life??

there was no update issue in 13.0.20.0. the problem occurs at 13.0.21. this version does not receive any updates. i had to update myself because i did not get the update from the previous version of 13.0.21.

users with this version will have to wait a while. if you want to go formally without interfering with the phone like me, that’s what you need to do. or you can open the lock and change everything.
Hello, I'm on MIUI Global 13.0.12.0 Stable,
Yesterday I got a prompt for MIUI Global 14 and the download kept failing after multiple attempts at 84%, 76%, etc. So I tried Clearing the cache of the updater app.
And now there's no prompt for MIUI 14. It shows my device is up to date.

you mean 13.0.21.0 right? not 13.0.12.0?
They have withdrawn their update to make the final edits, which means that the update will be coming soon.

Nope... I changed to USA region, but still nothing...
USA? Xiaomi phones are sold there? 😁 Try some European counties or Indonesia.

Meaning even if I unlock the bootloader now, I will get the OTA update for MiUI 14, and when I install it, the bootloader will relock itself automatically?
    Or will it stay unlocked?

If it relocks automatically there is no point in my unlocking it manually unless I am flashing a custom ROM right now.
You can flash the V14.0.8.0.TKDEUXM(EEA) or V14.0.1.0.TKDMIXM(global) rom with Miflash and choose whether or not to lock the bootloader, knowing that if the bootloader is unlocked, the phone will not be no longer certified (play store) and will have to root for it to be.
By rooting no update via OTA.
Or try a Xiaomi Eu rom.

But if I update the normal way (using the Updater app) will the bootloader be relocked when I flash the update? Or not?

What difference does the Play Store certification make? Can I still use it normally?
Updates do not lock the bootloader.
If the play store is not certified, banking apps will not work and you will not have access to certain apps like netflix.

So I can basically unlock the bootloader now and forget about it.

I will still receive OTA updates and be able to install them normally, without worrying about them relocking the bootloader.

From what I understand, does that mean SafetyNet is broken?
I don't use Netflix or banking apps so that really isn't an issue for me.

As long as I can make online payments via Google Play I am happy.
    Google pay will not work.
The solution is to install a Xiaomi Eu rom (custom rom) where everything works with the bootloader unlocked and without root + update via OTA.

Thank you for your answers and patience 🙂

So just unlocking the bootloader and waiting on the stock MiUI ROM is not a good idea.

So I will not unlock it until I am fully prepared to flash a custom ROM and root it. Which will be after Xiaomi drops support for this phone (Android 14).
Yoi can also flash xiaomi.eu rom. You wiill be still on MIUI, but you will have unlocked bootloader, you can have twrp or not (your choice), you can have root or not (your choice). Your device will be certified with root or witbout it. All apps will work. I don't know how it is in other coutries, but in Poland we still have warranty if we use xiaomi.eu rom.

    I knew that before posting.
The point of posting was knowing if that issue have a solution or at least which is the cause of it.
This is not yet a problem, the deployments are done gradually by country and region.
Sometimes for obscure reasons some receive nothing after several months, sometimes a factory reset solves the problem but sometimes unlocking the bootloader is necessary.
