I was wandaring if anybody new of any good car docks for the lumia. Normally i would just pop down town and buy some cheap one but for some reaosn Nokia put all the physical buttons down one side meaning anything that grips it will press something. The Other option are the stick on style but im concerned these will just get ducty and or leave a mark on the phone.

Im after one too. Must be one in the works surely.

Saw a video from Nokia showing how Drive works and he was using a very tidy holder that looks like it was design for the Lumia/N9.

Being that Nokia Drive is a decent selling point I'm sure an official holder is in the pipeline.

Fingers crossed :D

found the one from the video I posted.

Looks like it would work a treat!! And £8.99 for an official cradle seems like a bargain!

Just ordered one, I'll post pics and details of how well it fits once I get it :D
Has this arroved? I am really interested in this but i would like to know if it fits properly also does the holder come away from the stand so that it can be rigged to sit on a vent? Thanks to my large family i have to drive a bus so the dash goes on for ever making windows holders messy

Here you go;

Fits and holds it really well. It's a spring loaded clamp, so can be a bit of a fiddle getting it out again, but I don't think it's going to fall out any time soon.

Doesn't come with a clip for air vents, but it comes with a pad that you can stick to a surface then sucker it on to there.

The suckers about the strongest I've seen on a car kit, it's made from a slightly tacky rubber and it really grips on.

For £8.99 Im very happy :)

Doesn't come with a cable so you need one of them serperatly, I'm just using my HTC Trophys lead.

Problem with that is it'll press down the volume button. Lumia has all it's buttons (volume up/down, power and camera) down the right hand side.

Makes clamp style holders useless :(
The Brodit clamp style holder will not interfere with the buttons...

I currently have the active mount for the HTC HD2 and with a bit of glue I added the headphone connector cable into the holder so I could wire the audio output to the car stereo. I don't know brodit don't make their mounts include this. The Nokia device will be more difficult to modify as it requires extending the upper connector block.
