Car Fast Charger?

I have 2 car fast chargers.
1. iRAG 36W Dual USB Quick Charge 3.0 Car Charger

2. AUKEY Car Charger with 36W Dual Quick Charge 2.0 Port

The problem is that they don't consistently work on the Note 8, they both work with my Nexus 6 and S8+. When I plug the Note into either one it will say fast charging for a few seconds and then go to regular slow usb charging. Then 3 times out of 10 they will stay on fast charge. What if anything am I missing? A setting on the Note 8?

Will sound crazy, but try a different cable....specifically one that came with the 8.....my story i had a quick charge for my note 7 when i got the 8 and plugged in i got the warning about no fast charge....said screw it and ordered one recommended in the note 8 accessories thread....that one did the same thing....then i thought....wait let me try a new cable, plugged in and boom working (with both chargers).
