The uint was purchased via amazon and the support is from the supplier in europe ... they refused to help by supplying the original firmware. I think they are only a front end distributor for OEM white box products .. and this particular combination of processor, board and SOC is just not showing up on any of the searches I have done ,,, I almost gt the feeling that it is a tabnlet hidden inside a car audio box ... the hardware sun8iw15p1 points to it being an A50 SOC ... ( https://linux-sunxi.org/Allwinner_SoC_Family ) ... which fits the spec reported by AIDA64 ( https://linux-sunxi.org/A50 ) ... but I'm still no closer to finding any kind of solution .. I really think I need to root the device and tinker with the formware .. but I'm not going to do that without an original ROM to use as a rescue/backup.

The system spec from the firmware sees it as an A23 chipset .. but it's a 4 core, so it could also be an A33 (pin compatible with A23) but that would normally expect the hardware to be sun8iw5p1 ... It's all so very messy

Try to find Bluetooth in the settings application. Please note that the settings application appears in the language you set. E.g. if you set German the app will appear as 'Einstellungen'.

I don't have the bluetooth option in the settings. My settings look like this.

This is exactly this unit, only the older edition with 1GB of RAM and android 4.44. I already had it mounted in the car when I bought the car as used.

Are you sure these updates are for my android unit? Their products look different than for my Audi a4 b8. My unit is designed specifically for this vehicle. I don't have the courage to try to install this updates, I don't want to damage my unit. But thank you for your efforts to advise.

I'm using this launcher on my PX5 unit and like it so far
But I'm having small issue with the auto brightness control. It's working fine but only in the launcher itself, when I choose an app through the launcher, the screen switches to full brightness when oppening the app. That's pretty anoying. E.g. I'm using myTuner as the radio app so it will open when I press the radio button. But it opens with full brightness even though the brightness is low in the launcher
Anyone with the same issue???

Btw. I'm on the trial version

Which type of brightness mode is set? If you use the overlay mask it can't work for other apps and dims only Agama itself.

In the new version there is a new method it is called mcu px3/px5/px6 and it works for me- Dasaita Px5.

Agama just paints an transparent image on top of itself. The level of transparency defines how bright the UI appears. This does not work for other apps.

And when start the car i put the radio to startup, but when i switch to poweramp it doesn't stop the radio, it goes both together, how to properly fix that problem?
And auto brightness it's not working ok, when night starts it dimm just a litlle bit, even if i ut minimun brightnes on 5...

I have installed a new launcher (Agama) in the car radio unit, because it is a more powerful and configurable launcher that the original that comes with the unit.

And i have 2 problems (in fact, one problem in 2 applications).

I have installed the Agama app and I cannot use neather the analog radio FM nor the Phone whit Agama. If i assign Radio FM application to the Agama radio button, when i push the button nothing happens and the FM radio of my stereo car device is not started. The same with Phone application.
It seems like if Agama cannot manage the built in applications of my DIN2 stereo device, only the Android aplications.

I have a shortcut for radio and another shortcut for phone in applications wardrobe, but if i assign it to one of the launcher button, it does not do nothing, the radio or Phone is not openned.
If i push my steering wheel radio or Phone button, it works; if i push the button of the original launcher that comes with the unit, it works, but it does not work with the launcher. It is like the original launcher block the radio and the Phone, unless i have put the new launcher as the default launcher.

If i download an alternative application (like Navradio+ or True Dialer), it is a partial solution, because the application starts with the launcher button, but i cannot manage it with the steering wheel buttons, like if the steering wheel buttons for radio and Phone were Block by the system launcher application.

1. Is it a normal problem? How can i solve it?
2. How can i manage the car stereo unit sytem builtin applications (basically, analog radio and phone) with Agama launcher, like i manage the others applications?
3. I dont know if i have root access to the unit. But if not, please could you tell me how can I have root access to the car unit?

Hello friend, I have a possible solution. On some radios, agama may have problems with the pre-installed applications. That's why agama has a pack of shortcuts that may possibly solve your problem. Here I leave the pack, try it and I hope it can help you. Similarly, on its official page there are instructions for this problem. All the best!

Since updates of Agama Launcher and/or Poweramp, the latter doesn't function the way it used to do. Before I just had to press the music player button under the clock. Now I have to launch the Poweramp app first before I can use it. A bit anoying Are there more users with the same issue? And is there a solution?

IS there any way to get navigation to show in the centre circle of Agama Launcher? Ive got it set up to where it says Google maps is connected but thats all it says
