Anyone who is thinking of the Fosmon TPU and regular clear screen protectors from amazon I just got them. The screen protectors are fine. The case is a very tight fit. Too tight actually that the bottom lip gets pulled back from the surface of the screen.

do you have the 8.0 version, I have a similar case for the 8.0 version, it's not that the case is too tight, it's because the back of the tablet is curved, making the case not fitting properly.

Yes, I have the 8.0. The top is fine though. Does this happen with your case? If that is going to always cause the bottom lip to fall off the edge, I'm wonder if there is a case out there that will make allowances for the curves then, to make the final form with the case on more of a box with right angles. The official Nexus 5 case was nice like that.

Apparently the whole of the tablet is not flat, if you try to put the tablet face down(display face down), you will notice a arch or a soft curve on each side, if you turn the display on, you can even see the light shine out, you will also notice the back is not totally flat either, put the tablet on a flat surface and you will see it. I have check this out with many S2, so if you using a TPU case, you will get this problem, many case makers won't deal with this problem and will just consider it to be flat.

Let me know if you get the same as I have mentioned.

Too be honest I haven't noticed any curve. I tried placing it face down and back side and it's pretty flat, mine is at least.
If this is a feature, I figure they would have advertised it as such, much like the Galaxy Nexus which was curved by design which I had also.

You have look much carefully, the tablet is not flat.

even the case you put on shows that the tablet is curved and not flat.

I placed by 9.7" wifi USA tablet screen down on a very flat marble surface. Screen was set to display bright white.

Lights were turned off. Room was completely dark.

Tablet touched table in 3 points only. Top left corner, top right corner and home button.
I added small weight on back exactly on top of home button to depress it.

Now tablet was supported by 4 corners and home button.
Light displayed approximately evenly from underneath tablet in all 4 directions.
except for narrowing approximately 1/4" near all 4 corners

On my tablet, home button is highest point..
4 corners are next highest
metal rim is higher than glass display everywhere.

I don't need any weight, all four corners touch the table, but I get a slight gap like arch(similar to the LG G4), on each side, but only really noticeable if the tablet backlit light is on.

I got the roocase and I love the vertical stand. I also have the skinomi glass screen protector.

I ordered this one and it looks nice, but the tablet has to be perfectly even or it closes shut. It is also very awkward to open, do not recommend.

Hi there. I had an origami case once for my Tab S and found if I folded the cover flat against the back, the magnet would turn off the screen. Does this happen with your Roocase case and Tab S2?

No this does not happen. Looks like they changed the design I use it folded more than anything and it has never shut the screen folded against the back.

There are many variations of these origami cases available sold from many brands, or cheap and fake copies are also available, so it isn't surprising that some are better than others.

Bought the ivso off amazon. I had it for my note 10.1, and it worked out well. Trying to decide if I want to go with tempered glass and a touch style case instead.

Tons of cases

Can anybody recommend a case for the S2? Most makers will make the same case for the 8.0 and 9.7" so we can keep them all here.

The official tablet cases don't look too easy to hold.
when it comes to Samsung, there are tons of cases available online... try the fashionable fit, the SGP ultra silke, as it's one of the popular case. There are tons of different cases on Flipkart mobile store from which you can choose your favorite one! Also, you can google it and find some really top rated cases online.. :)

The clear solution is... both! ;) There will likely be times when you prefer one over the other. Tempered glass is definitely a good idea, especially on a tablet. Part of the reason that I got my S2 was that I cracked the hell out of the screen on my 2014 Galaxy Note 10.1 from a pretty light drop. I got these two cases: http://www.amazon.com/Infiland-Sams...keywords=samsung+galaxy+tab+s2+case+inifiland and http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax...-1&keywords=samsung+galaxy+tab+s2+case+fosmon and this screen protector http://www.amazon.com/Protector-OMO...keywords=samsung+galaxy+tab+s2+tempered+glass which put me back only $26.

I got the Infiland book-style case (still waiting for the Fosman skin) and I like it a lot, particularly the rotation. I chose that one because it covered more of the edges than most of the other ones. The OMOTON screen protector is nice too, just be very careful with the application.

Which IVSO did you get / how do you like it?

here's the case I bought, works well so far, had it for my note 10.

stupid autocorrect on my previous, I meant tpu style case. Looks like you 9 inchers seem to be getting better selection at accessories, although its been a few weeks since I've looked.

thanks for the input.

I'm intrigued by this case, but cannot find any information it's dimensions. Would you do me a favor and measure yours for height, width, and thickness? Thanks.
