Good review. How is it compared to the 'High Gloss Silicone Protective Cover' from VZ? This is the one that I have and always used for my phone. It's lightweight, front of case comes a bit around the edges to protect the screen of phone, camera lens protection is ok (not the best, since it comes close to the surface when putting the phone down), and even after I have dropped my phone several times there has been no damage to screen or phone (knock on wood :)).

thanks.

The biggest difference is that it's not glossy, at all. The outside is a matte finish, and the back is solid polycarbonate - no flex at all there.

Is there a place where I can check out the case before buying it? I just want to see how it looks and feels before buying it.

As for my glossy case, I've never had a problem with it sliding on surfaces and it always slid easily out of my pockets.

I picked mine up at a Best Buy so in theory they should have one for you to fondle :)

And allow me to chime in and say I love this case too. I used to have the all silicone one but I didn't like that I couldn't attache the metal half of a magnet mount to it and I didn't like any of the hard cases because ... well they were hard and offered no real shock protection.

This case solves both issues. The hard back will hold the magnet mount and the sides are soft.

The only thing I miss is that this case lets the phone slide off my leg unlike the grippy silicone one. Then again, it was a PITA to take the grippy silicone one out of a pocket and this one has no issues. Life is full of compromises.

... this one overlaps the screen and is slightly raised..about 2 creditcard width..I didn't really like the vz as it seemed loose..

hahaha...I can just see it now. I'm at best buy checking out the cases and saying, hmmm I really like how this one feels against my skin...lol.

thanks for the additional info on the case.

Okay, these cases are fucking sick... Put ours on. The fiancee has a red battery back on her's, and I a white one. We both have been huge fans of the TPU cases in the past. I had an eBay special, a clear one, and she had the red Verizon one.

These are awesome cases! Very thin! Thin as the TPU case but with a much less "cheap" feel to them.

I'm going to try to run mine "nude" in the case without the battery back. I've got some thin felt tape that I use for small projects that may provide the resistance necessary to keep the phone from sliding around inside the case when the battery back is off.

Regardless, these cases are the best we've ever had.

Pictures tomorrow!

I've read the review and where to purchase. I went into my local bestbuy earlier today and couldnt seem to find this case. They had griffin cases for ipods and iphone 4s, but nothing for the incredible...
Are these special order through bestbuy online only?

I later tried calling bestbuy but their phone service is probably the worst i've experienced, even worse than those calls sent to india for computer tech support.

I bought it right from Griffin and it was an easy process with fast shipping. If your local Best Buy doesn't have it, you may need to go right to the source.

I just ordered my case from Griffin. I can't wait, let's see how it is.

Thanks for the coupon code. I'm sure at best buy it would have been more expensive and plus tax and they might even try to sell me a warranty. :) (no offense to bb employees, it's just my experience with them)

hopefully soon they will offer a variety of colors
I doubt it, unfortunately... The Incredible's launch was marred by availability issues due to the AMOLED shortage. Because of that, momentum for the phone swung to the EVO and new Moto Droids.

That said, despite an assload of Incredibles being sold, there are comparably very, very few accessories for it.

I am shocked that ten months later there is anyone introducing innovative cases for this device.

Youre absolutely right, and this is the exact reason no stores in my city carry any accessories for this phone at all
