I've been using the Torras Mars Climber case since I got my P7P. Torras has been my go to case for the last couple of my device's. It's an all around solid case. Good feel, well protected. Has mechanical or clicky feel to the button's and it has a metal kickstand that comes in very handy. At $20 it's a hit. They offer another model without the kickstand also.
For screen protectors. They are a little pricey but I prefer the Whitestone dome glass screen protectors. Again another go to accessory. Good feel. No issues using the finger print scanner or any touch issues for that matter. They are durable and long lasting. The installation is a whole process with the liquid and UV curing but the fit is perfect and no bubbles or lifting in the corners. Makes it worth the time involved in the installation.

I've been using the Torras Mars Climber case as well and like the stand, wish it had a little better protection on the chrome around the camera lenses. I went ahead and ordered the Ringke Fusion Black Matte and will be comparing both of them in the next couple of days.

So I finally caved and got the Pro 7 and also purchased some cases because I couldn't decide which one I would like once I have them in hand. Below are links to the 4 cases I decided on buying. I really like them all to be honest but 3 of them (not the spigen) has a open square hole at the top of the case if that makes any sense? Can anyone tell me why they all 3 have this and the Spigen does not? Is it for some sort of interference with antennas or something? To me because of this square cut out at the top it time it would just collect dirt. The other issue I am having is that I love the fact that these 3 cases have the individual cut outs around the camera instead of just a square hole around the cameras like the Spigen has. So I am torn between which one I should keep because I do indeed like them all except for these little details. If someone can please enlighten me as to why the 3 have the square hole at the top and the Spigen doesn't I would really appreciate it. Right now I am leaning towards keeping the spigen but really would like to know as to why it doesn't have the square cut out like the other 3 do?

Spigen Rugged Armor

So after much debate I have officially stuck with the Spigen Rugged Armor case along with the IMBZBK glass screen protector and the Spigen Glass Lens Protector. In my opinion the phone is absolutely perfect now. I was skeptical at first with screen protector but after the 2nd try it worked out absolutely perfect and it was the first time in my life I have ever applied this kind of screen protector before. Word of advise if anyone decides to give it a shot. Before you use the UV light to cure it take the 6 little tabs out of the jig. The first try I didn't do that and when I went to take the tabs out after curing 2 of them had a little adhesive on them and it ended up pulling up the glass protector. So take them out before you cure.

Hello, I am looking for a robust but discreet screen protector.

I currently use a film that I like but feels like this is not going to be enough to protect the phone.

I understood that glass protectors might not be suited for curved screens.

Would love to hear your suggestions :)

You already have the most discrete protector. The only good glass ones I have seen are the loca glue based ones and they are far from discrete. I would say Zagg would be your best but but they scratch way to easy for the $ you pay. I would just stick with the film and call it a day, I've used them for years without issue. Plus they are dirt cheap to replace. I've had this on for two months without any problems https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGB3GMS5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I've just got my 7pro yesterday and after reading the whole thread and watching some YT I picked the Ringke fusion matte and Ni-Shen tempered glass.

I wanted Whitestone, but amazon Germany just had their film. So I opted for the cheaper Ni-Shen. The installation video looked goofy and it seems that the package should include a weight (to place on the finger print scanner for the first 45sec while curing the glue). None was in my package. Oh well I have it a try and it worked remarkably well. The finger print sensor might have been better before, but I can't complain. It's still very responsive. No bubbles and no lifting. All in all in very happy with the outcome.

It also works well with the Ringke Fusion.

Now I only need a low Profile magsafe sticker for the case

Doesnt have the best reviews (in forums that is). In Germany I would have to import it from the us ... Which is too expensive for such a case.
Alix has the same case (from the pictures at least), going to try that one as it's far cheaper for me. Got to wait for it though

Was originally using the Spigen Liquid Air but I like this cheap below case way better. Superior camera coverage and better overall protection. Textured buttons and the volume buttons are uniquely angled very grippy and anti-fingerprint material.

Not sure what people complain about. The modem on my P6P works pretty much exactly like every other phone I've ever had.

Anybody know if a P6P case will fit on a P7P? They seem pretty close to identical.

I've always liked Spigen cases, but I wish they would make them in hazel. The hazel one on the google store is not in stock, uggh. I usually go with Skinomi Matte screen protectors. Might try the spigen protector this time.

Also, been using Spigen Thin Fit on my prior devices which works for me!📱

The IMBZBK is junk for a UV kit. One of the protectors didn't even have the protective film on the back but they stuck the peel sticker on the back. Since there was no protective film pretty much -1 protector right out of the box. I've done tons of LOCA installs without a hitch so I am very experienced. I think there's an issue with their kit because they use these little annoying plugs to hold the protector in place. The black hammer used to slowly lower the protector to the screen also wobbles around quite a bit and doesn't stay straight.

First protector had a huge area where I could see newton rings basically it wasn't touching the screen and as a result the adhesive didn't fill that area. Second one the same thing happened but it eventually filled the area but then formed small bubbles. I'd say I could have gotten a defective kit, but considering 1 of the 3 protectors was DOA I'm inclined to think it's a junk product. I think the plugs are too tight and causes the protector to lift from the screen enough to cause the issue I had during installation. Just go with a film and use it until your Whitestone comes.
