I think I've found the perfect case for me. After buying the MNML case I found it indeed too minimalistic and really pricey compared to what you can find on AliExpress.

I was already glad about the 1st one I received from Ali. A good quality case with a soft feeling :

But the perfect match is this one. A slim case offering decent protection with its lip over the screen and at what price (only 2$ Oo ! shipping included !). It's a lot worth for the money.

ok I tried a lot of those cases.
and in my opinion, spigen rugged armor is the winner as it is rigid and protecting enough.
it gives some lift space on the screen side so I can leave the phone on the table upside down.

it's not the best looking case, my best option should be the (spigen) thin fit model but it's missing some protection on top and bottom.

I've stuck with my Caseology Vault. It fits snug as a bug and has great grip and raisivity.
I guess the only thing I'd want is a kickstand, but are there any decent kickstand cases besides the Spigen offerings?

I tried the lifeproof case and tech21 max since i last posted. Tech 21 is nice but thick. Liked the lifeproof alot but after a month the seals turned gross yellow. Im back to using my caseology legion. Its a hard case to beat.

Has anyone found a good, thin folio case like the OEM ones for the Nexus 5 and the LG G6? I don;t really need a wallet case. I just want to protect the front and rear of my phone when it is in my pocket.

I'm still on the hunt for a simple, thin case that's actually grippy. Not looking for a clear case and drop protection isn't super important. If I can hold on to it then not concerned about drops. Anyone have a good option to share? I currently have Caseology Vault (too bulky), and I've tried MNML and Totallee (love the look and thinness, but too slippery for me).

anyone tried momenum or rhinoshield cases? not cheap but worth ordering?
I bought a second hand RhinoShield CrashGuard Bumper case for my Pixel 3, put a Dbrand skin on the back and have no complains. I don't drop the phone that often to tell if it works, but for now everything is good. It look really good with the Dbrand skin. The phone is originally white(not what I would prefer, but I got a nice deal for it) and with the black case and black skin it looks very Nice, the only white thing is the fingerprint scanner.
I think its worth it, nice quality of material and good feel in the hand. Doesn't feel thick in any way(Bumper case)
I hope its as though as advertised. :D

Looks nice Kris!

Are the buttons stiff? That was one of the issues I had with the Solidsuit.

For me the Solidsuit was near impossible to remove of the Pixel 3 without me thinking that I would break the glass back of the device.
Any better with the bumper?

The buttons are fine. Can't say that its a soft click, but its fine to me.
I know what you mean, removing the bumber at first was very scary, but its not that hard once you get used to it. Because its a bumber case, my guess is that it will be easier. With the Dbrand skin you have to be careful not to damage the skin. It wrinkles easily on the corners when you put it on.
My sister has a RhinoShield Bumper case for her Iphone 8, its a loooot harder to remove hers. I am not sure if I succeeded at all :D Too scared...

This Obliq case might be the one.

- Feels good/ high quality
- 10 ft drop tested, solid lip
- doesn't add much bulk
- responsive buttons
- perfect cutouts
- active edge still works 71TQWCAZT7L._AC_SX425_.jpg
