Knox Checks between 24 and 72 hours, here is a snippet from one of my apps that use Knox.
Not sure how many missed validation attempts before it invalidates the license.

Here are the servers it connects to to validate

Yes it's a busy little beaver... I firewall block it* always.
Blocking it seems cause no harm... time will tell.

*The one I'm firewall blocking is KLMS, all knox packages I can PB are PBed. This is the only that seems to be still active.
One of the Android apks IUD 1000 is firewall blocked as well as it eats battery otherwise; it may use this as well.
Who knows? Blocking it doesn't effect functionality for me.
PD MDM is also firewall blocked but has run with no issues for over 2 weeks.

Google restricts both the number of refunds and promo codes I am able to process. Then there is the issue of the amount of time available to handle either of these. I'm working within the bounds of the limitations presented to me and as such I made the business decision to be very clear regarding the status of my application and my refund policy. User's have the choice to make and informed decision and take the risk that Samsung will cancel the license or not.

That being said I am working on a new solution that won't require "full" payment when this situation comes up in the future.

Now if only I could get a bunch more Samsung partner accounts...

Any update on this "new solution" :)

Search the Play Store for CCSWE, it has been back for some days, apparently you have to pay twice now for it to work.
Thanks, just downloaded it again, have to say though this will probably be the last time, this is now the 4th time I had to fork out for thisd, rating this as almost my highest value paid for app.

Package Disabler Pro for Samsung seems to now be available on their web site (not in the Play Store).
Think there are some proper negative views on package disabler pro, read some bad feedback on here about it.
Maybe it's been corrected and it's a decent substitute, not sure.

I find it interesting that they have chosen to go the non-Play Store route.
Ditching Playstore may be a good thing.
Playstore is no angel... and not necessarily doing things in your best interests.

I normally keep Playstore PBed.
It's gotten so bad that I made copies of all my apps and took Playstore out of the loop completely when I do a reload. Gmail and gmaps still are running on their factory load versions because the updated ones suck.

I've ran old OS's and apps for years with no updates and no issues. Far fewer then with new ones.
With scope storage raising its ugly head and other "improvements" I will likely stay on Pie for the life of my 10+... whatever.
Google is a big sister... I don't need that.

Can you disable apps from starting at boot with adb?
Yes, yes it does.

The problem is some apks you want disabled most of the times but not all of time.
Being able to enable/disable those few on the fly is much better.
If you goof up and disable the wrong one the fix is a click away.
It also gives you easy anywhere troubleshooting abilities that ADB doesn't.
A good PD is a great tool that uses little resources and almost no battery.

You are totally right!
But since these apps get taken down regularly I prefer the ADB way
Mine has been running for over 3 years (2+ on old phone, 1+ on the 10+), no issues. Do not buy them on Playstore.
Once you get one that's working avoid OS updates... the destroyer of worlds.
Lol, I'm still running Pie.

Guys, just use alliance shield x. It's free and allows you to disable all the same apps. Why bother buying an app over and over and requesting refund after refund.
I've been running the same PD for over a year now and 2 years prior to that on my old device.
2 simple rules that work:
•Don't "upgrade" the OS, especially if it's fast, stable and you like it.
•Don't buy these apks off of Playstore; buy direct from the company site.
Playstore is trouble.

Or they could just continue to update their OS like most will anyways, and still use alliance shield x for free. No need to buy from any other sources.

How long have you used this apk?
Reliability and security are more important than chump change.
Fair enough
I've been using it for a month now. Not a single issue. Also has a 4.9 rating in the playstore. You could at least check it out yourself and make your own conclusions. Up to you tho.
Just trying to give other people options that don't wanna buy-refund-repeat all the time.

I too am using Alliance Shield X and it does MORE than both these apps combined and its free. App disabler, Firewall and Update blocker and more. Seriously, give it a try!
