The wifi signal always drop even wifi booster just around corner. Better convert to custom rom. My MI max prime work fantastic with custom rom at same spot poco having an issue

this has nothing to do with wifi, it is about cell reception only.
I'm on the latest build of Lineage OS and signal streangth is as usuas as worst

If this is only due to difference in calculation method then it shouldn't matter at actual, should it?
it matters when i miss calls/calls go to mailbox and i get undue battery drain from my phone looking for "better cells" to connect to but your mileage may vary
has anybody tried the 2019-02-06 Lineage OS build and can report about cell reception?

yes there is a fix/workaround and it has been well documented within this thread and all findings have been added to op
But mate,it has to been done on the developer side or use roms which have implemented the fix, what if i want to use a rom of my choice like havoc, i don't think there's a fix i can do on my own.
Could it be caused by Preferred Network type? Check if the setting is the same on MIUI and custom roms.
Add DotOS to the list...it has nice same strength as in the list

I just want to know if the low signal problem is already solved.
Edit: there are people in the LOS tread complaining about the weak signal strength in the official build. So I will assume they haven't had the time to fix it already.
