We know how much you like to stream, ahem, "videos", and so cellular data is mega-important. Rate this thread to express how you think the Google Pixel 2's LTE performs. A higher rating indicates that it's fantastic: throughput is excellent and signal strength is top-notch.

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add.

I've been wondering this question for a long time, does network performance directly correlate to the processor/modem? I remember going from a HTC M8 to a Nexus 6P and the download/upload speeds went up drastically. That was going from a Snapdragon 801 to a 810. Can I expect the same thing going from the 810 to the 835?

Seeing a 5-10dbm improvement on my 5" Pixel 2 when directly compared to a 5" Pixel 1, on LTE Bands 2 and 4 (T-Mobile). Able to retain LTE in a hardware store where the Pixel 1 drops to Edge or No Service. LTE speeds on my Pixel 1 were always "slow" when compared to an Intel iPhone 7 and other Android flagships (50-75% of their speed). The Pixel 2 is much better here as well. Patiently waiting for root to verify 4x4 MIMO and 256QAM is active for my carrier, but it seems likely so far.

Pixel 2 on the left on the attachments. The 30/90mbps speeds are on a 20mhz B4 tower, no aggregate bands. The 100/160 speeds were on a 20mhz B4 + 5mhz B2 tower. Not sure if the towers are upgraded for 4x4 MIMO.

My top speed (mbps) with the Nexus 6P was around 60mpbs. With the Pixel 2 I am reaching over 90. Glad I made this investment.

It gets fewer bars in the exact same spot on my desk at work than my Nexus 6 did.
I'm curious about that, how does it perform in the fringe areas 3g/1x territory?
