Hi, i just flashed my first custom rom, now the CWM is gonna missing in the drawer , do i have to reflash the CWM so that it reappears in the drawer ?

Guys Does DDMF1 CF-ROOT support Ext4, Because i tryed but after applying Ext4 script it kept saying Cant mount system & other partitions

maybe you should think about upgrade to a new fone. galaxy S is now too old and slow compare to another new gerneration.

CF-Root for most I9003 firmwares.

- All the credit to Skin for his cf-root and his great help in resolving issues.
- UtterChaos Kernel Credit goes to DoomLord and Napster.
- Cwm 5.0.2.8 (Credit Amit Bagaria)

XWLF2, DDLF2 and XXLE4 will require clean Firmware Flash for the CF-root to work.
If You are already using any other CF-root, these CF-roots won't probably work.
Flash the Firmware again and then flash the CF-root.

Thank you for such a wonderful guide but unfortunately I am stuck. I have DDLF2 firmware on my GT-I9003. But both the links for the file DDLF2_CFROOT-05-07-2012.tar are dead. The file is deleted from http://www.mediafire.com/?0ndawa4g0s851h4 and on https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=22979706399754503 the upload is corrupt. The uploaded file on https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=22979706399754503 when downloaded is only of 4 KB. While the original file size should be 7.2 MB. Please help ASAP. I want to root my GT-I9003.

Hi, did you get any link to download XWLF2_CFROOT file ?
Strangly, root files are still available for Froyo or 2.3.5 andorid version, but not for lastest Gingerbread version

DDLF2 CFROOT 5/07/2012 not flashing via Odin v1.83

The 30/06/2012 CFROOT for DDLF2 flashed easily using Odin 1.83.
The 5/07/2012 is stuck at NORMALBOOT.img in Odin 1.83
How to go about it @ganeshbiyer ? I'm willing to flash CM11 4.4.4
