Chainfire's RegionLock Away App SIM Unlocked my TMo Note 3

I've rooted my TMobile Note 3. It is blacklisted due to nonpayment of EIP. The only piece I am missing is an unactivated TMobile SIM. Is there any way to do it with just an AT&T SIM?

It can't be done on KitKat - and I don't think you can downgrade to Jellybean. Just buy a code - they're $15

Didn't work for me, is there only certain versions of stock ROM that this works on? I've tried it on 4.4.2 and 5.0 and no luck. Should I try 4.3 stock ROM? Also, I only have an de-activated (due to payment) T-Mobile SIM and a foreign IUSACELL SIM, can I still make it work with that?



Update: Welp, can't downgrade to JB, I guess I'll have to buy an unlock code

Hi CF,
Regionlock away app didn't work for me. After rooting , when i tried regionlock Away app, i got 'An unexpected error occurred! #3' error. I could not find any thread on this error.
could you please help?

What rom and modem is on the phone?

If it works the same way as the s4 Sgh-i337m, the phone needs to be rooted, and running an older modem like 4.2.2 because the app will sim unlock the phone.
