Apple to Android

I really appreciate the way Huawei is approaching in the mobile industry. Where everyone is running for expensive phones with big displays and more RAM, internal storage, Huawei/Honor is busy making their phones cheap and affordable. Really loved this product. I have been using Honor 5x , Honor 8 and recently Honor 7x and all are great devices.

Better Android Updates

I am using Honor 6 plus now and planning to upgrade my device. Honor devices work great and are always value for money compared to other alternatives.

But the only thing which held me back so far is lack of updates. Most of the times there are two Android updates and then nothing.

Online forum and posts are full of reviews and comments about lack of updates. If Honor gets rid of this and provides timely updates then count me in

Well I currently own the Pixel 2 XL and am very happy with it
The reason I would like to own the Honor 9 Lite, would be to replace my wife's shattered Z2 Plus so that I can watch my daughter shatter an 18:9 display phone

Joking aside, would love to gift my wife this phone so that I do not need to spend on the screen replacement which is a pain with non-removable battery. Also love the optimizations and useful tweaks in the EMUI which I have used in the 6x before. Just like MIUI, Its far more intuitive than some other android skins.

i am using xperia z3 from past few years, and when the screen broke, i paid huge money to get screen fixed, only because the device has XDA support and it get all latest OS support.
If Honor is doing this, then i am interested to buy it as the spec /design looks great for given price. perfect VFM(Value For Money).

Currently using an aged Oneplus 2 and looking for an upgrade which the honor 9 lite fits perfectly. Not only is the screen size handy, it is also quite stylish to just carry one.

I'm currently using a OnePlus 3 with Experience OS. However, I wanted to try out a good phone with an OEM UI; EMUI seems quite nice. As per reviews of their previous phone, EMUI seems to be quite lightweight. Another thing that I wanted to try out is their processor. I have been team Snapdragon for a long time, but Kirin seems to be catching up. It seems that they have employed the big.LITTLE architecture on this processor. I want to see how it actually performs in the wild.
