Change in amount of time for recent apps to appear

Is there a way to decrease the amount of time I have to press the HOME button to bring the recent app list?

I'm using stock Samsung touchwiz, rooted with note core kernel.

I'm using stock Samsung touchwiz, rooted with note core kernel.

Install apex launcher. In the apex launcher there is swipe movement that will launch recent app no need to use home button, its fast this way.

I like the regular Samsung launcher... Any ideas of what to modify to achieve this?
