Soooo, did you read my post right above yours??? It includes the 36 dpi mod link, plus reference to post #31 which is where I got it.
Sorry, I thought that this is only for lte... Thank for you two.

Success!! anybody want some real estate?? With my trusty nandroid in place, I flashed this on my Flo...........and it worked great. It didn't even break my Zipthemer Zenyth white softkeys mod that I already had on there!! (thank you CandyShop!!), and thank you very much @he_stheone64!! rom: SinLess 4.4KK v.2.1.0 / TWRP 2.6.3.1
Dude...it doesn't work on my Nexus 7 Wi-fi runing stock rooted android 4.4.I'm getting continuous bootloop.

There's no telling......so many times I read where something works/don't work......it's enough to make you want to just give up and stay factory/stock......................NOT!!! Seriously, I have no idea how this mod is written to the system, but I can't imagine wifi vs. lte having anything to do with nav bar size. The SinLess rom is even odexed just like your pure stock, I haven't a clue why it wouldn't work. :p You did have your backup.......right???

Of course i have a backup:D
The curious thing is that first time booted to homescreen, but without any response to touches. And after 3 seconds rebooted to the bootanimation start. After that....endeless bootloops.Curious :-??.And i think that navbar has so many things related to WI-fi or Lte...because navbar is included in framework-res.apk wich is different from flo to deb...I think.

OK...since none of these flashable zip`s uploaded here didn't work on my Nexus7 Wi-fi (flo) I`ve decided to modify my stock KK framework-res.apk in order to have the 36DPI navbar.So...for Nexus7 Wi-fi (Flo) try this flashable zip.I bet it will work for you if you have stock KitKat KRT16S.Op....if is ok maybe you can upload this zip to your first post in order to have all downloads at the same place!

Thanks. Just went back to stock for 4.4 and the nav bar was intrusive IMO.

Tablet UI Stock JSS15Q Odex

Trying to flash the 32 DPI Zip file on my Nexus 7 2013 on Stock 4.3 but it's failing. Giving me an error that includes not finding the MD5 file or what not. Help? I downgraded to 4.3 to get Tablet UI because of ****t 4.4.2's phablet but now my NAV bar is huge!

I love my new Nexus but that horrible navigation bar kept bugging me. I don't hate the bar but the size was just aweful. Since this is my first Android device, I wanted to keep it stock. I did try a couple of ROMs but went back to stock. I kept trying to figure out how to reduce the size of the navigation bar. I tried a couple of programs. They were buggy. So, finally, shinta86 pointed me to http://chromloop.com/2013/07/how-to...on-bar-in-cyanogenmodcm10-1-on-nexus-4-guide/ that had instructions on how to decompile, change, and recompile framework-res.apk file. I gave it a go and bam, my navigation bar is smaller now. :D I chose to go with 24dpi. In case you would like it, I have included a link to framework-res.apk.zip file. Your device has to be rooted. You will have to replace framework-res.apk file in /system/framework with the one that you download from my link.

As with other things posted on this forum, please proceed with warning. I am not responsible for any damages to your device. :)

Proof of the labor:

32dpi (better for Tablet UI mod)
