Change SELinux status to Permissive

SELinux Permissive init.d_by Walter.White aka Heisenberg.zip Walter.White aka Heisenberg init.d script (You need this to automatically boot phone in permissive mode))
KitKat_init.d_Support_ALEXNDR.zip You only need this if you do not have init.d support (most custom roms come with init.d support)
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.13.zip this is to update your SuperSu (to get permisive to work)

That is not a script, that zip installs init.d support for kitkat rooted roms.

You need a recent version of SuperSU to allow you to read/write to /dev/kmem

Try installing the initd support installer posted a few post back (perhaps init.d support in rom is not installed currently? )

Im on firekat too i flashed no. 2 and then followed no. 1 on Carl post but make sure you updated lastest su from playstore first

I'm golden now! Let's get some custom kernels in here please! I miss the good old note 2 days and hate that this is such an ordeal. Does anyone know an eta on when we might see some goodness that comes from this???

Tmobile note 3 had some kernels. Is there such a thing as porting kernel ?

In that thread some people thought that SELinux set to enforcing is what was causing problems for some Samsung models. I was able to get SElinux changed but it did not help with the problems over there. Back to square one. Thank you for your help though.

Worked for me!! Was wanting this since upgrading from note II. Used this for the network disconnect every now and then. Think something like this on the note III will help keep network more stable?
