Change SMS Background

SMS Background Pack 2

I have made 13 cabs to change the background on the sms/email screen.

Cabs:
Marble
Sky
Water
Pasta
Lined Paper
Ice 1
Ice 2
Sugar Cubes
Light Wood
Vanished Wood
Rice
HTC (not recommended as picture is dark)
Sky Non-Threaded Version (not had confirmation that this works yet)

I have also included instructions on how u can make your own pics as a sms background.

Thanks to Ahen who made the white brick wall cab that i used as a base for me cabs (I have included his cab out of respect).

cool, thanks. Just so you know, the lined paper CAB installs the sky background (sky installs sky too), so you may want to reupload that one.... that's the one i wanted too lol.

neat implementation. Any idea how to make it work on the email/SMS slector page? I see it works to create a background if you open an individual email/text but it doesn't impact the page that shows all texts/emails. Any thoughts on that? Thanks - an great work so far.

Is there a reason your using three times the same backdrop, instead of pointing to only one graphic in the html and CSS?

The Compose SMS htm was missing a few lines that made it incompatible with 6.1, you can test if it works in yours.

could u un-tick the system files box in the properties as i always have problems getting system files to show on my laptop.

Here are all the Files for Mail SMS etc.

I made it so it should only use one Graphic.

Hopefully their of use to you.

For some reason copying them manually breaks stuff, but making and installing a cab works

works on my official r3 rom (6.1), have not tested on a 6.5 device.

I can confirm it works on 6.5. Great job by the way.

Seems that it is cutted 320x240 area and stretched to 800x480...

Can you confirm you see all area of SMS-background?

the images are all 480x800 but when i made picture of a girl it seemed to cut the image (maybe where the sms screen does not use the whole screen) thats why i only used textures in my cabs. what cab are u using? or are u using your own pic?

ok, i will make a cab but as i answered on the post above it may not come out properly, thats why i only use texture like pics.

ps. i have made the cab, but the pic u gave me was very low res. give it a try and tell me how it comes. if u can fine a higher res pic it would look better.
