In the email confirmation after I placed the order they say my credit card won't be charged until the order has shipped.
Its status is still "PENDING - Leave warehouse in 2-3 weeks" and my credit card has been charged. Why?
And the cancel button is still there, but I wonder if I cancel this will the money go back to my credit card or what?
This is so confusing because they say they don't charge the money until it ships but in reality they do.
This is actually my older brother's credit card but I use it with my google account so I don't want him because of me lose the money or have to do troublesome things to get his money back.

I basically don't want this phone anymore but not sure what to do.
Does anyone know what I should do?
Thanks

Call them, if they didn't prepare the order you can cancel if not deny the package and the money will go back to the card

Your card hasn't been charged. Google placed a temporary hold for the amount of the phone(to make sure that A) billing info was right, B) you have the correct amount available). In 2-3 days, it will disappear and the money will be back. Then shortly before the device ships, they will charge it.

If you're outside of the Cancellation period, your only option is to either A) Report your credit card lost/stolen and have the company issue you a new one(this will cause Google's charge to be declined due to the old CC number being invalid), or B) Sit it out and refuse the device when it's delivered.

I had to do the same thing with the original Nexus 7--ordered it from Google, but found it locally cheaper and couldn't cancel.

I'll leave a note at the door to refuse the package.

But do you know if they'll refund the shipping fee? 10 bucks is not little to me :(

So confused. Why did you order the Phone using your brother's card in the first place.

Cause I'm not old enough and don't have a credit card.

So you used your brother's card and hoped he didn't notice then he saw the "charge" and got mad at you and now you want to cancel it?

What were you going to do if there was no "charge" and in 2-3 weeks the phone ships?

Lol you made me laugh,
He let me used his card and I'll give him cash later. But now I don't want the phone anymore because im not rich and want to save some money to get a laptop (a high end one). I also realized that it's not worth paying the bill every month for the phone service just for me to use some mobile data. Even if I use T-Mobile 30 dollar plan I still have to spend $360 a year.
More importantly I already have an iPod touch 5 to play with. I just want some mobile data to use and an android phone cause I like android better but I think I'll have to wait until our financial problems are gone.

BTW I don't know my brother's card number, security code or whatever

Then why buy a high end laptop if you have financial problems? I would suggest getting a refurb laptop from newegg or tiger direct. I got a 900 dollar laptop at the time for around 400. Great Asus laptop and it runs everything smooth. It's 2 years old and is perfect for college work and traktor that I use to dj live.
