So my Pixel XL is charged 100% according to the lockscreen and in the battery setting (full) but in the notification bar, the battery still has that lightning bolt icon, does this warrant a factory reset or is it a hardware/software problem; is this something I can fix?!

I've experienced similar issues on more than a couple of devices using third party chargers. If that isn't the case, factory reset should correct it
