Charging issues, Micro doesn't work but 3.0 does??

So my Note 3 suddenly doesn't want to charge via any of my reliable micro usb cables... My usb 3.0 cables charges it perfectly fine. Yes I'm rooted and have been going great, just randomly a couple days ago my phone was just dead even though plugged in via micro usb.

Any thoughts?

sounds like a port issue on the phone. its not a year old yet so it if it is you should be able to get another one.

if it were me i would need to for sure it wasnt somehow software related and would try a factory reset and see what happens since it can do wonders sometimes.

Question - have you tried plugging it in while it is turned off to see if it charges with the USB 2 cable?
