It takes around 2 hours on the original charger. Around 3 hours with a charging station from Patriot that I have at home. So from my point of view, it's fine. I am satisfied. :)

I know... But that's what I'm seeing.. Its about 70 minutes actually... And closer to two hours using the OP charger...the charger I'm using is from Amazon and its a certified Qualcomm quick charger...I'll see if I can get a link to it.

Not made by Qualcomm... Just a certified quick charger.

so i was annoyed by the fact that the original cable provided by oneplus is not working up to the mark... so i tried to see what was the problem by opening the cable,

damged portion cut out

worn out wire splited ends

chared wire stuck on rubber insulation

rest of the area is clean

split area

damaged area removed and new portion soldered, i figured out the rest of the wires are for data transfer, so the black to 5 and red to 1 makes charging work...

all efforts to waste... still no improvement!...

i couldn't conclude still why nothing improved, probably the solder lead is not upto the mark...
anyone having any knowledge about this please help..:confused:

Charging speed depends very much on the charger I am using. The standard charger got really slow over the years and charging now needs up to 12 hours with it. Any other adapter that supports a current of 2A is really fast.
