I just find it best to use the standard charging. Battery life is much better from a trickle charge
Nope, unless u live in a really hot place, fast charging heats up the battery a bit more, that is supposed to be like that due to higher current.will it damage the phone?
Exactly what happened to me, phone was fine when i got it. but as soon as i flashed it, i experienced device starts to heat in less than 5 min as soon as i activate the wifi and battery life got crappy. i flashed a samsung stock rom donwloaded from sammobile, but that didn't change a thingNope, unless u live in a really hot place, fast charging heats up the battery a bit more, that is supposed to be like that due to higher current.
Some people have said that after that the battery capacity is reduced, I haven't tested this yet, but this isn't supposed to happen, there must be something not correctly configured in the rom, kernel or the phone itself, a battery life is only reduced due to long term usage, if u try overcharge the battery or if the current going in is higher than it's supposed to be(which could also result in explosion and i highly doubt they would allow such risk).
I got my father's phone two days ago, i installed Superman rom, i hope this doesn't happen, i'm try to check battery volts after each type of charging.
Soon we may see more details/fixes for this.
This whole thread is a bit concerning. I have an S7 on its way and was thinking to give wireless charging a try. I flash roms on all my previous phone but have been noticing that my s4 gets pretty hot running games. I was going to pick up a CHOE QI 2016 and realized that i need to pay a lot more for the fast charge version and came across this.Exactly what happened to me, phone was fine when i got it. but as soon as i flashed it, i experienced device starts to heat in less than 5 min as soon as i activate the wifi and battery life got crappy. i flashed a samsung stock rom donwloaded from sammobile, but that didn't change a thing![]()
yes thats true quick charging drains the battery comparatively quickly than the normal charging!what ???
absolutely normalThere is only a 10 minutes difference between fats charging on and off on my s7. Is that normal?
thats a myth, time for change in opinion, if you fast charge it, it fast drains, if you normal charge it increases battery life!Nope, unless u live in a really hot place, fast charging heats up the battery a bit more, that is supposed to be like that due to higher current.

wireless charging seems not a very useful option. who keeps the phone every now and then on charging, you charge it for an hour and 15 mins using the traditional charger method, and use your phone for 17-18 hours. frequent charging js not recommended also as it impacts the battery life of your phone! This whole thread is a bit concerning. That isn't a myth, i guess u need to go back to study law of physics, think like this, a battery is a tank in which u fill with energy, if u fill a tank with 1000 liters/ hour it doesn't mean that when u use it will drain faster, but it means that if u push more pressure than the tubes can handle they will crack, if u try to fill more than the tank can handle it will also crack.yes thats true quick charging drains the battery comparatively quickly than the normal charging!

you dont need to recommend to me, what i have to study, this is not your forums, it is a public forum! That isn't a myth, i guess u need to go back to study law of physics, think like this, a battery is a tank in which u fill with energy, if u fill a tank with 1000 liters/ hour it doesn't mean that when u use it will drain faster, but it means that if u push more pressure than the tubes can handle they will crack, if u try to fill more than the tank can handle it will also crack.
Energy itself is measure in watts, if u pull in 3 amps in 3.6~3.7v battery(which have final charged state at 4.5v +/-) it means u are filling it at 13.5 watts/hour, if u fill it at 1 amp, it's just 4.5watts/hour.
Most batteries say they are 4000 mah, well, it actually means that the battery can handle (in the case of 4.5v batteries) 4.5v * 4 amp = 18 watts in total.
Fact? cause u think it, no proof at all, no reason to explain your point, fact is your comments are a waste of readers time, and i stated the reasons which makes it a fact.you dont need to recommend to me, what i have to study, this is not your forums, it is a public forum!
fact is, what i mentioned is right, you fast charge it, drains faster!! so all your facts mentioned above ultimately prove wrong in case of samsung galaxy s7... if you dont believe it, go try it, why waste time replying to my comments and show how good your physics is!

ya recommending other readers to study physics on a mobile phone forums is not a good pass time either!Fact? cause u think it, no proof at all, no reason to explain your point, fact is your comments are a waste of readers time, and i stated the reasons which makes it a fact.
Not my physics, laws don't change for me or anyone...
google it more, you will find the fact to be true!I don't think your battery drains any faster if you fast or slow charge the battery, the power consumption of the phone remains the same, and the capacity of the battery remains the same, they are the two factors which determine battery life, not the speed you charge the battery
It is possible the lifetime of the battery is reduced by fast charging, but not the drain speed
Google will show you whatever you want to see, I could google "Schwarzenegger dead" and it will show me an article about his deathgoogle it more, you will find the fact to be true!
sometimes you have to believe google.Google will show you whatever you want to see, I could google "Schwarzenegger dead" and it will show me an article about his death
I don't need to google it, I have used fast charge and slow charge and noticed no difference in drain speed
Show me a real study with accurate results on a chart of Normal vs Fast charge battery drain
Looking forward to itsometimes you have to believe google.
friend i will show you real study in a couple of days, i will share the battery usage log w/ and w/o fast charging on my normal use!
